There are a few pieces that continue to scream out “cast me”, I am sure that this could be wonderfully executed in ceramic and glazes. I made this after reading Aurthur Golden’s Memoirs of a Geisha, although I think Brancusi had more to do with the piece than Asian art. The back of the piece is stunning, and the dark spots keep the work from becoming trite.
