Muse of Decision

This and its companion piece, Resolution of Intent, are interpretations of figures that appear in Giorgio De Chirico paintings. A little sexier than he might have them, but I thought this was an exciting extension or my earlier Brancusi-esque work.

The resin filled groove simulates the lines transversing some of these images. Quite a number of De Chirico’s various “heads” would translate well in this material.
