Dare I Dream

I believe there’s a Magritte painting of a woman with flaming hair. If not, there should be. I tried to capture a dream I had, hence the title, and this was my second attempt at the piece. In the first I tried to incorporate a large section of steel into the stone as the face without much success. I was able to make the final work from the remaining rock, and it’s far superior to all that the first could have been.
