Cubist Crotch

One of my earliest woodcarvings, and the only one to survive. Taking a root I found by the side of the road, I followed the organic sweep and accentuated some already sexual images. I’ve wanted to cast it in bronze since I first made it, with the outside brown and the inside, while keeping the patterns of the inside wood grain, polished bright.
