Reclining Figure
Part of the tree that If Elected… came from, it’s got a Henry Moore look to it that morphs into a praying mantis. Still acceptable for a Moore, who wasn’t all that kind to women on occasion. Another piece that I would love to see in bronze.
While I was showing it during the Arbor Day Festival at the Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay I was across the field when I saw five little kids crawling all over it. For many reason I had to get them off, but as I slowly walked across the grass I have never wanted a camera with me more in my life. The children were having an incredible time, and it was immensely satisfying to watch. The parents couldn’t have cared less.
